A bike is the retiree's friend, pc!
I have many happy memories of biking as a kid but I think it's a bit too dangerous on the roads now. With proper cycle lanes I'd buy one tomorrow.

I've ear marked 59, but from 54 dropping down to 4 days a week, at 56, 3 days then 58, 2 days.Aiming for 55,the latest i'll be 60.

I’m in the same frame of mind about biking, make it safer and i would be all for it, I’m going to start mountain biking instead, it will mean I have to drive somewhere to do it properly but I’ll have loads of time to do it.I have many happy memories of biking as a kid but I think it's a bit too dangerous on the roads now. Retire but don't stop engaging with the world or you will turn into a vegetable. I see that a lot. Stress keeps you alive.
