Bundaberg Over Proof 57.7% abv. Expensive but you might drop lucky at a Duty Free.
That’s like the Fosters of the spiced rum world. So what's your weapon of choice?
I'm well into captain Morgan's spiced at the moment, but no doubt BM's will advise me of other better products
Havana Club 7 Anos is the best of the lot in my humble view. I am also a fan of Mount Gay after once doing a tour of the distillery in Bridgetown, Barbados. That was a day which got very messy. In the last few months, I've tried (by the bottle)
Kraken
Sailor Jerries
Havana club especial
Mount Gay
Captain Morgans
Aldi's Seadog
Havana Club is definitely the best from that list
I tried one of the sample bottles of that alongside Kraken, Seadog and Captain Morgans and it was bottom of my taste testDead Man’s Fingers - very nice spiced rum with a vanilla taste.

The Havana Club 7 Anos is not cheap. The problem is that once you have tasted it you won't want anything else. I got some in Asda for about £22 but it can cost up to £27 in other places. But it is superb. A very smooth taste and not too sweet like the especial is.I'll give it a bash if I find it on offer
I think it's generally £25 ish and the others are 16/17 when on offer
We had a similar day in the Dominican Republic after visiting a rum factory
As a group we'd bought a substantial amount and the rep was given six bottles which were consumed on the minibus back to the resort
Got to be pusses rum. Our navy ruled the world on it.So what's your weapon of choice?
