In hindsight correct. He thought hospitals were going to be overwhelmed. What would you do?O fuck off, doesn't take a genius to understand sending Ill pensioners back to care homes without testing them is murder.

Tested them first and used hotels as an intermediary. In hindsight correct. He thought hospitals were going to be overwhelmed. What would you do?

Not if you changed passports. Which is the way travellers got round the problem.
It was reported from Pakistan and Bangladesh and specialist travel agents based in the North West were selling flights to Istanbul and then on to Pakistan and Bangladesh advising people to use their UK passport for that journey and their other passport to/back to the subcontinent.Did you have anything to back this claim up at all?
Genuinely curious to know as I can't find anything off my own back so perhaps you can point me in the right direction, or link some material.
India doesn't permit dual nationality, so that potentially throws open a whole new can of worms.
Some peoples politics are more important to them than the lives of 1000s of human beings. Not sent ill people into where the most vulnerable live, honestly there is no defending it, if you do you're a **** end of.
There is no opposition in this country hasn’t been for a number of years. Some are blind and won’t see it; won’t see where the government has failed every step of the way. I don’t really have a party, but what I’ve found as I’ve got older how cult like it is following one and blind and biased people become. It’s a shame, even worse they’ll still get in power next time around. Madness
A piss flap? ;)Not sent ill people into where the most vulnerable live, honestly there is no defending it, if you do you're a **** end of.

Vaccination rates by local authority from gov.uk
We've known about the regional discrepancies all along but wondered whether it was a student effect. This data shows it isn't a student effect as all Manchester age-groups have lower uptake.
I don't like the colour code though because the visual difference in colour is stark but if you look at the key it's difficult to gauge how big a % difference there is.

I am more interested here in the difference between two regions than the difference by age in one region.isnt that’s just time related. Older groups have been eligible for jabs for longer than the younger age groups.
over 18s have only had a right to get one in last week or so. Give it time .

The story was in March or April.
It was certainly on Radio 5L.
Due to not giving AZ to the under 40’s (or under 30’s, can’t remember which) and yes supply is an issue for Pfizer and Moderna.
I have been flagging up the difference between Manchester and Stockport and how it seems to be reflected in their Pop Scores and cases pretty much every day for weeks in here Marvin. As it is very glaring.I am more interested here in the difference between two regions than the difference by age in one region.
Those heatmap graphics are not a great way of presenting the data for anything other than a broad overview, as you pointed out the shade difference between bars is not very quantitative. The raw data for the different age groups in each LA doesn't appear to be accessible from that page.Vaccination rates by local authority from gov.uk

Not sure what is meant by Manchester and Stockport in this context. In the drop down box on gov.uk it described these localities as 'local authorities'.
