Jack Grealish

Quite honestly (and I've thought this for some time) Renato Sanches has re-found his form.

He's been exceptional in this Euro championship! Everything Grealish has and more.

Probably wouldn't cost more than £40M either.
Would love him at City on current form!

I'm not sure why we wouldn't have gone for him 5 years ago, still it isn't as bad as going for Kane who will cost a fortune and have next to no resale value.

Grealish is cut out to play as one of the 2 #8s, even though he has struggled at Villa when played deeper, it is a different system here. We already have good players to play there but we really need 4 to play 60 games.

I wouldn't judge a player on a 3 or 4 game Euros.

Been fantastic
Think Lille would want more than 40m though

Looks quality. But I've seen reports that Lille were after around €80m for him in January.

A CaughtOffside article today. Apparently we have already signed Grealish for £88m.

Of more interest is the comment shoehorned into the article which is all about City and Grealish which says ‘ …Man United have never shown an interest in signing Grealish. This has been a one horse race since last summer, with City getting the deal done.’

So Utd are not interested, have never been interested and are fuck all to do with the story. So why mention them at all.
88 may be the fee, but once the red top comics have got hold of it, it will be 250 million*

*including wages, and performance markers, and in euros....

I understand that Stockport County also showed no interest

I think they'd accept 60 and cash in.

That would be a bargain and Guardiola could mould him.

I feel like he could be a proper replacement for Fern.

Just seems pretty similar in play being in the right place to intercept and drive forward.

May be right I thought the same, but if Fernandinho is doing another year then it would be one for next summer.

Mmm... I think it should be like the Rodri learning curve.

It wouldn't be right to throw him into a system without bedding him in slowly.
Well he would as he ‘d be Rodri back up same as Fernandinho next season. But we don’t have a squad place if Fern stays anyway..
