"This country is dominated by Left Wing Authoritarianism..."

*Off*

Yep, all those lefties in ministerial roles and heads of businesses.

They need to be put the date next to their own screen clock, I think their target demographic need it.

GB News clocked an average daily audience of 42,000 on Monday, June 21. By the end of the week, viewing had drifted down to 31,000 - well below the respective 95,000 and 59,000 viewers notched by BBC News and Sky News.

Meanwhile, the channel's flagship 8pm show, spearheaded by Neil, has also shown signs of strain.

After clocking 164,000 viewers on the day after launch, Neil's show struggled to draw crowds consistently.

Viewing figures have dipped below the 100,000 mark, dropping as low as 33,000 on Thursday last week.

The Euro 2020 tournament may be partly to blame. Many broadcasters face a battle to keep their audience share as viewers flock to the football.

Yet there are fears GB News' early dip may be the first signs of a lasting decline.

The channel needs an average daily audience of 139,000 to attract the advertising spend needed to break even on annual costs of £25m, according to Enders Analysis

Hopefully its backers won’t give up on it and will lose shit loads of money whilst AC and a couple of his mates avidly watch it by themselves.

They thought she was unthinkable.

Never watched the channel, but as I am for freedom of expression I hope it doesn't fold. Surely we want a range of differing opinions on current affairs being voiced in our society ? if you don't like it watch something else, Russia Today might suit a few on here I suspect ;-) RT That's not my cup of tea either but I defend its right to broadcast in the UK. Personally I have enjoyed Aljazeera when ever I have watched it. ?

We certainly don't want want censorship and things being closed down just because we don't agree with them. Be careful what you wish for folks.

RT is the propaganda arm of a foreign state, a state that killed British citizens on UK soil, so personally I can see a case for banning it.

You'll want to ban the BBC as well then. The propaganda wing of a party responsible for the unnecessary deaths of more than 100,000 British citizens from covid.

It won’t be closed down because people don’t like it, their problem seems to be that even those who might like it are watching something else, or more likely nothing at all when it comes to news

People that watch any 24/7 news channel regularly are a bit weird to me. Those channels are useful in the aftermath of a breaking event, but for 99% of the time they’re just regurgitating whatever they deem to be the biggest story on a mundane day.
