We better be at the table for him, even if it doesn't get done or he turns us down we should at least be having the conversation.
I love Bernardo, but in a way I agree with him. If Bernardo was a creator in the way David Silva was, when KDB was out, he'd be the one creating by sitting between the lines with back to goal and being the link that sets our wingers free. On a side note IMO this is why Sterling struggled. However, it was Cancelo who was the one in that period which created. Bernardo had to do the graft because of Cancelo creating along with Gundogan who got into the box more.Lol who tuned him into james milner and when?

Bernie went from messi like at Monaco to just a work horse like Milner. Gets praised for running about a lot on here and that’s about it these days.Lol who tuned him into james milner and when?

Did you watch any of monaco’s game when he was playing with them ?I love Bernardo, but in a way I agree with him. HahaGot to be off your head if you think Bernardo is better then Grealish .
He’s got no end product, grealish will be the Dave silva replacement we thought Bernardo was befor he turned into a James Milner
I've argued that Bernardo is a better player myself but the truth is this version of Bernardo that we've seen for 18 months probably isn't.Ha....so you think that makes it wrong...its called a difference of opinon...I happen to think that Bernardo Silva who has won multiple titles/awards etc is a better player that Jack Grealish....you clearly think otherwise....I was onyl posting in opposition to the point that someone made that one season worth of stats show that Grealish is better...I say that doesnt show he is better overall
For the record an as Ive said before I think Grealish is a good player - nothing more however.
I know you love to be contrary and I know you post a lot of stuff to ruffle feathers but if the Jackmeister comes close to Bernardo best days with us then we will be doing OK.Got to be off your head if you think Bernardo is better then Grealish .

I'm now my DaYer Da thinks Grealish should get his hair cut and wear some proper socks and shinpads
I’ll be reserving judgment until he’s been to the barbers personally ;-)I know you love to be contrary and I know you post a lot of stuff to ruffle feathers but if the Jackmeister comes close to Bernardo best days with us then we will be doing OK.
Of course, goes without saying.I’ll be reserving judgment until he’s been to the barbers personally ;-)
I genuinely think this “numbers” thing has got a bit ridiculous tbh. Some odd posts here today. Everyone clearly a little bored!
Kane in comparison to Aguero is about the best replacement we could get. He already has a relationship with Foden, Sterling, Stones and Walker. You can run off him due to his creativity or you can cross or play him through and he will score. He is a pretty complete footballer when you look at his goals and assists. And due to that, he is an ideal player for Pep and also gives us a plan B because we can go more direct to him if we are chasing a game late on.
Grealish and Bernardo comparisons are slightly harder to draw on. The one major advantage in my opinion is his pace. Bernardo's close control, technique and passing is excellent but usually it's his constant running and tenacity we applaud. If he does want to leave, Grealish is a damn good replacement. Got the same tenacity but has more pace and more of a goal/assist contribution.
I think people are also forgetting that Pep generally improves players and Grealish could skyrocket under his tutelage and Kane could get even better too. Bernardo for whatever reason hasn't produced the numbers he maybe should in our side, but I do bloody love him.
Can't say that I watched them much and not going to doubt he was good in that team. I don't know how Monaco played week in and week out, but I can't imagine they dominated the ball like us and came across low blocks as much as we do. I'd venture to guess we play differently to them. Pep talks about how good Dave was in tight spaces. The ability to play a 1 touch pass that frees our forwards was underrated. Bernardo can dribble well and shoot better than Dave, but in the tight spaces shots gets blocked a lot. Bernardo can put in a decent cross, but so can a lot of our players.Did you watch any of monaco’s game when he was playing with them ?
Are you going to consider he has been asked to do different job ?
That’s certainly an opinion, no doubt about it.My honest opinion and will probably get dogs abuse but I think bernardo is twice the player grealish is. He is the most over hyped English player in a long time, think he will end up here and I hope I'm proven wrong but I don't get what all the fuss is about.
