It's not going to be Ings and I doubt Haaland is going to move this time around or Messi is going to leave Barcelona despite the contract wrangling but it is going to be interesting who we are going to bring in as an alternative.

Of course he's going to say what he said, he needs to keep in character until whatever happens happens.
 
I’m pretty sure you’d be able to find examples of players bigging up their current club only to be gone a day later if you looked.
Means fuck all really.

Real have always been the most attractive club for players around the world, and they'll always be bankrolled to the hilt to make sure they are. Barca are the ultimate tourist club - They'll die like a starving animal as/when Messi leaves. That's why they'll sell their soul to keep him - they'll probably pay him £500k a week to just walk on the pitch when he's 95.
Players and agents will just have to get used to 'earning' a bit less fora few years.
 
Levy will charge a premium after he started scoring at the Euros. Cannot imagine Txiki who did not go above 65m for years immediately goes to spend 120m on one player especially on a 28 year old one.
