My lasting memory of that store will be one year going to it the day one of our later Umbro kits was released and being told they wouldn't be getting any until the following week and advising me to try Alexandra Sports!!!! Wasn't the manager Stan Gibson's daughter??

The kit deal was £50k for the last three Umbro (not Nike owned) years, flat fee and in total, 1994-7, so £16,666.67 per year.

What sort of souvenirs or nick nacks did they sell that they don’t sell now. There’s lots of other stuff granted, but they still sell all the sort of stuff they used to as well.
