Where as i am not arsed and im glad he gave it i have to disagree. Yes as u say there is slight contact. But football is a contact sport and i dont think the contact was enough to make him fall. I dont like the “well there was contact so he deserved to go down” comments in footy, nope, its a contact sport.
Anyway.. as i say … i dont care really ;)
 
I tell you what, the amount of salt on 9gag and reddit because of Sterling is absolutely delicious.
 
Brilliant seeing Raheem play with a smile on his face, so pleased for the lad, he seems to be really enjoying his football with England, maybe Peps intensity is a factor ? (not saying it is, just something that went through my mind).

we haven’t won anything since 66, we don’t have to play like prime Barcelona we just need to win. Couldn’t care less if we play like we did.

do you want us to play like city? Even though we don’t have the players and we are through to the final. Can tell you only like club football
 
Big difference in the weight of the passes of Sterling for us and England, just seemed weird that.

Is it as simple as that though Marcus ?
It is a contact sport, but it depends on what kind of contact, I've not seen it in normal time, but when you're running at speed and get clipped, and Raheem gets clipped twice, it really doesn't take much.

That's unfair. He brought Grealish on to help break the defence and then, job done, added a defender to hold the lead. Straightforward decision, not nasty.
 
Had the tv on mute for the penalty and the windows open. You could hear the cheer from everyone’s houses and the pubs. Don’t think I’ve ever heard anything like it.

the whole country seems to be behind the team now and I think if we manage to win it will be like nothing we’ve ever seen before.
 
Put it this way, if united get that pen we’d be going mad. He bought it but I’m not sure I care.

The whole country bar those on here who would rather the team lose just to see Southgate go.
 
Anfield this season,Ruben puts his hand on the shoulder of Sala ,penalty.Definate penalty say the commontators there is contact.Yet contact with Sterling’s right leg,then his left thigh and it’s “soft”.No bias there,my arse.
 
We used to Walker stones and Sterling playing like this but am shocked at how polished and good Shaw has been last few games!

It’s just a small number of miserable posters on here who aren’t happy unless we play like city at our best, which is never going to happen.

This forum does not reflect the country right now. Posters on here who dislike England no matter what and seem incapable of not talking about rags’, the media or some kind of city agenda

the same posters who’d have been going crazy if we’d have won the champions league final playing in a defensive way
