Yep, once they get over their short term difficulties NI should prosper at the expense of GB and to the benefit of RoI and the EU.

That should make it very clear to the population of GB that being in the SM and CU helps with prosperity, which means the Brexit puppet masters will have to ramp up the gaslighting even more to retain full gammon support.

By way of example, Lewis is citing an ‘exodus of Jewish people’ from NI due to unavailability of Kosher food. We are being asked to believe that there is no availability of kosher food in NI. Also transporting from GB also involves 100 mile trips. Most food is transported 100s of miles. It’s called a fucking supply chain.

‘Brandon Lewis again refers to Kosher food availability at risk because of protocol. Says it is a 100m each way trip to Dublin to get daily provisions which is not acceptable.’
Considering the total Jewish population of NI is less than 100 of which probably less than half are bothered about getting kosher food, I would imagine that problem, if it exists (which it probably doesn't), could be solved for the whole Jewish population with a single weekly round trip to Dublin in a medium sized van.

We never got the euro finals whilst being in the EU. Coincidence? I think not
Let's hope it's not an EU based referee. Or a Scottish, Welsh or Irish one either.

And based on most the rest of Europe's reaction to our win we've turned into the Millwall of international European football. So I'm not sure where that leaves us for unbiased officials? At least we'll have an excuse if we lose.

So you’re excuse for losing would be…….
Nobody likes us?

I see.

I watched the match on RTE last night and thought England got more support than I’ve ever witnessed over here. The only bitterness on display was from Didi Hamann. Don’t think he’s forgiven you for beating Germany.
Liam Brady was openly supporting England.
There was a positive piece done before the match asking and explaining why Irish fans who openly love the Premiership and the players in their own personal teams, find it so hard to support the English football team comprised of their own heroes.
The point of the piece was that this English team are likeable and for numerous reasons. The other point made was that as demonstrated down through the decades a certain minority of your fan base had as much to do with the dislike of the team as anything else.

Having watched the crowds actions and having read the thread last night, it seems to me that you have as much resentment amongst your own compatriots for similar reasons, as there is resentment from foreign fans that is perhaps more understandable.

I haven’t watched the tournament until this last week.
I have to say I am genuinely neutral. I like the Italians too but they were lucky against Spain.
I just hope it’s a good game and not too cautious. I hope the team that goes for it, is rewarded for their effort.
I would love to see Raheem, John, Kyle and Phil play out of their skins, so England winning really wouldn’t bother me. I say good luck to you.

And enjoy the party win or lose.

The bill has arrived.

So, to increase trade barriers with a Europe, impose an internal customs border, remove our rights to free movement across 29 countries, limiting our ability to work and settle and bollox up the UK fishing and food and drink industries that will be €47.5 billion.

Marvellous. Luckily, we don’t have any other disasters to deal with right now.

‘The UK is liable to pay €47.5 billion to the EU as part of its post-Brexit financial settlement, RTE news has learned. The figures are contained in the EU’s consolidated budget report for 2020.’

I was suggesting that officials would be against us and I wasn’t actually being serious.

For context...

Jan-May 2021 vs Jan-May 2020

German exports to:
+15% total
+19% EU
+16% USA
+20% China
+1% UK (note: UK has deferred raising the agreed trade barriers).

German imports from the major European partners:

+24% Belgium
+9% Netherlands
+7% France
+24% Italy
+17% Spain
+25% Poland
+27% Czech Republic
+18% Austria

-15% UK (note: Germany has raised the agreed trade barriers).

That will be €47.5 billion you owe us, sir. Goodbye, sir, and thanks for all the fish.

The Express seems to have gone full schizophrenic. Now reporting article after article of Brexit bad news but naturally blaming the EU for it all. I wonder when the penny will drop with those that don’t just read it for a bit if a laugh.

Been doing it for weeks - that with GBN are I think actually Viz "characters" being established to start a new cartoon - Lee Andersons mental musings !
