I don't watch Leeds often enough to know how good he has been but I think he's been great for England. There was a first time pass he played in the second half that made me squeak with excitement.

Was that not his first season there?

I think they spoke of this past season being disrupted by injury and he got Covid too.

He looked class when he broke through at Ajax. One to maybe keep an eye on of other targets prove problematic.
 
Leonardo Spinazzola? Seems very good - injuries notwithstanding.

I wouldn't mind us perusing him based on my limited exposure to him during the Euros - looks like a great player to me.

Yeah,2019/20.Only what ive read.

I havent seen much of him,but on last nights showing he looks like he could do a job.

He meant to do it, it was a pass. Look at what he does, he doesn't even try and control it he kicks it towards the players with the outside of the foot.

You comparing KDB with Kalvin Phillips? KDB is aware of everything going on and ALWAYS passes the way he is facing, ie forward looking. In that clip, Phillips has been extremely fortunate, four opponents are closing him down. I stand by what I said. No way he could possibly know the positioning of players from either team.

Stop the clip at the start. He is looking across towards Shaw. No other player in his line of vision. No other England player he could possibly pass to. My guess is he was looking to pass it to Shaw and gets very, very lucky when the ball passes the Danish press and finds a white shirt.
All opinions though. If he recreates that pass ever again in his career, he is a £200m footballer all day long.

looks like he is looking behind him at the start. But look at how he kicks the ball, he isn't even trying to kick it towards shaw, he hits it with the top/outside of his foot. If he was trying to pass to shaw he would have hit it with the side of his foot and direct toward him, and a pass to shaw wouldn't even make sense in that situation he was being closed down, it would have made more sense to go backwards to kyle walker, but no, he made a brilliant pass. only way to know is ask
