you know full well the praise will go elsewhere to the rags and dippers in the squad. Stones and Walker barely get mentions despite carrying the backline, it's all about Shaw and Maguire. As soon as Sterling started setting up Kane for goals instead of scoring them for him it became all about Harry and England fans en masse accused Sterling of cheating even when him being clearly fouled benefitted them. Always has either a negative slant or completely ignored. Will be the same tomorrow night unless we lose in which case it'll be Stones and Kyle's fault for not keeping a clean sheet and Raz bottling it in the big moment having had to cheat in the semi.
Everyone is raving about all three city players.

England 0-3 Italy.

This will be much more difficult than the British media are suggesting. Italy are a very good, well organised team that switch formations so fluently it is breathtaking.

Way too much expectation has been placed on these England players and they will crumble under the pressure... will try too hard, headless chickens etc.

Both teams had 4 shots on target in that game, England would have to sacrafice Kane to flood the midfield to replicate that and even if they did they are not capable of possession football like Spain or City…

This is the worst piece of analysis I have seen to date - the levels of delusion are starting to get out of control. England have the better players but not the better team or manager in my opinion - will be a close game between two very good teams

Tempo?

Fuck me, it takes Rice 70 minutes to play a forward pass.

Keep it the same, it's worked well so far. Boring most of the time but that's Southgate for you.

Its going to be a cagey game decided by one goal , not expecting a free flowing football fest , we have given up less chances than the Italians over the tournament and actually beleive our defence is superior to the Italians , my only worry is Mancini's team scoring first because he is a manager who has history for defending slim leads he has the nous to outwit a relative newcomer to top management in Southgate.
If we keep a clean sheet we will win and that all Manchester back four could be hailed heroes and not a f*cking Dipper player in sight apart from Gurner Henderson maybe getting a couple of minutes to close the game out.

QPR and Wigan tells me a different tale

Nothing.

I understand his concerns that any celebration will be highjacked by some politicians and some media outlets. Which is a shame because this could bring the country together in a positive way for the first time since...?I'm struggling to remember to be honest because of bastard Covid.
What politicians say about it is as important to the country coming together if we win (or if we don’t) than the corner flags are to a game of football.

Wouldn’t have expected this lol

they aren't, Sterling has been accused of cheating across the majority of platforms. Stones has barely had a mention in the wider media and online because it's all about Maguire coming back in and Walker finally got a bit of positive attention, but nothing compared to the pedestal he deserved for his man of the match performance on Wednesday which bailed the likes of Maguire and Pickford out time and time again.

Stop fretting about Man United all the time. Enjoy the moment.

Really looking forward to tomorrow, it will be a great day and even though I’m nervous as I want us to win and experience something that may never happen again, I won’t be as gutted as I was for the CL final.

Maybe it’s because I don’t dislike Italians like I do United fans or scousers and maybe it’s because I will be delighted to see my favourite city manager earn more success. If future City player Kane can’t lift it then I want Roberto to. What a man he is!

So it’s a win win for me but come on England!!

I'm not expecting a classic to say the least with Southgate's unimaginative teams boring their way as usual !
