Not in the CL though. we had 21.

to count as u21, they need to have been with us 2 years.

Bottom line is, we currently have 1 space available, Sergio's. Thereafter it is 1 in 1 out. I know people assume Carson can be excluded from the cl squad, that is an ifs and buts situation, the club have always builtna squad to the most onerous criteria which is the CL and attracted players on that basis. I doubt they would change that and sign players they can't register in the most prestigious (to players) of competitions.

It is boring,I agree.
Only thing possibly holding anything up now could be family time?
Some of our targets may have spent up to a month away from their families and want a bit of family time?

We don't, if Carson is still here, as reported/expected.

Foreign doesn't matter any more either, any new player regardless of age or nationality now takes up the same space, as we already have our max home grown allowance for the CL.

Not sure if at his age he wants to be 3rd choice or if the club want that. But he would count as club trained I think (but am not sure, although domalino is if that helps).

Insee gavin bazunu has gone out on loan, he was probably the most likely academy playernto take up that 3rd spot.

A thought has previously crossed my mind. If the club are keen on a senior keeper around for experience and as a 3rd option, perhaps Joe Hart might be worth a look at. He wouldn't take up tue space being club trained. He is doing just that at spurs, maybe he'd rather do it here for both emotional reasons and winning things. The dynamic has also changed massively to when Pep first came so the expectation is completely different, and they have been civil about the wholen hing so who knows.

It does however very much seem that the club and Pep like Carson, like having him around and he likes it here, so chances are he will be a part of the squad.

Is Hart club trained, think he was 19 when he signed.

Isn’t he number 2 at Spurs?...so at least gets to play most cup games
