would not say jimmy anderson fielding and batting is world class but took over 600 wickets

Bit of both. Yorkies not happy about the abandonment. There was surface water on the pitch yesterday and after about 3 hours of play yesterday it had to be abandoned as one of the Yorkshire players sillped on the wet grass at the rope and fell on the concrete edge and dislocated his knee.

The umpires deiced this morning the outfield was too dangerous to play on so the game was abandoned and ended in a draw. This is pretty significant as it means Lancashire topped the group above Yorkshire by ONE point and Yorkshire didn't get any bonus points in the game.

Both teams qualify for the final group stage to determine the winners of the championship but crucially as Lancashire topped the group they carry over 14.5 points and Yorkshire will only carry over 4.5 points for finishing srcond

am saying parkinson should be given a chance at test cricket. but until he has had a good go at test cricket then we can judge him. but if we can get a good leggy in the test team going to the ashes in the winter. then we know what the wickets are like over there. somebody turning the ball and having a mystery ball or a flipper just keeps the batter honest

If a test team requires batting ability at 10 &11 that's just indicative of serious problems higher up the order. Are you saying that Saqib Mahmood isn't good enough either as his batting isn't too hot?

No, I’m suggesting that Moeen Ali will always be selected ahead of him, when available, as he bats as well.
