I don’t think we would seriously consider replacing the greatest PL striker of all time with a hyped youngster who has failed to deliver and has a worse than one goal in four games record over the last two seasons

Going off mere face stats isn't a good way of viewing football. When Felix is fit and actually given a run of games he has been brilliant, so elegant to watch. Have people forgotten we were one of the few clubs after him when he was at Benfica? Even more so favorites till the whole Griezmann deal happened.

Never seen an issue with his attitude, the problem is Atleti play some pretty shit football and he clearly gets frustrated when the game plan is pump it up to Suarez and have Llorente running off him picking up knock downs.
It's not something a top manager can't fix. He is about as class on the ball as the best in our squad which is really saying something. If they are really bringing Griezmann back then we should do everything to land him

I would simply suggest a straight swap to them, if they take it good, else just walk or price Bernardo at €75-80mid love him here if we could get him he’s a player when playing well gets you out of your seat, his brother looks as talented as him as well will be the next bright young prospect out of benficas academy. I’d have both Grealish and Felix, different players could easily play both.IF he came it would not be as a striker, he is more false 9, 10 position, even out wide, a good alternative to Grealish for me
I have no issue playing a false 9 next year that is more a real false 9 as in a forward that floats rather than what we played last year which was no 9 and hoping the midfielders got into goalscoring positions, which they did. Wasn’t a real false 9 though. Messi is a real false 9, think Felix could be too, obviously not Messi standard but good enough for us to get goals from him.

That just isn't true. The two were a couple months apart.
The Haaland links were when we played them in the CL. Most likely speculative due to the timing of the matches and also the timing of the announcement Agueronwas leaving. 'Club with money needs a striker, here's one of the best', easy link to guess at.
The Kane rumours came after he did his interview. Equally as speculative. 'One of the top PL strikers talks about wanting to win thing, club with money needs a striker' again, piss easy link to guess at. And others then echoing the rumours for fear if being left out.
The rest is people filling in the blanks to make it seem like some know more than others to conclude what they want.
Either guessed rumour could be true, neither could he true, both could be true. Their bases are covered every which way.
