Harry Kane

you can’t knock his goal returns and even his general build up play however when I look at him he seems laboured on his movements. His running gait seems slightly unnatural as well. I also think he looks like he has lost a little bit of sharpness and being on his toes around the box. In this side you need to be Johnny on the spot at all times.

His pressing from the front is also non existent which again in this side is essential for the way we play. I know it’s not my money etc but even at 100 million I fear we will have our pants pulled down over this deal. I’m not saying I would be disappointed if we got him but equally I wouldn’t be excited on a level like when we purchased Silva/Aguero/toure or even edin dzeko.

Kane has proven people wrong his entire career, including me.

One season wonder? Goes and scores even more. Can't keep it going? One of the most consistent strikers in PL history. Glass ankles and greedy? Gets the golden boot plus playmaker award and notches almost 50 club appearances.

Whether you rate him or not I'm pretty sure he'll continue to prove us wrong time and again.

An incredible professional with an elite mentality.

Couldn't have summed it up better myself. Especially the last two words. What will cement that elite mentality even more is when he forces his move to City :)

Wasted at a club that hasn't got that same elite mentality. He needs to move and by the sounds of it, needs to force it through.

100% agreed with the last part. Outside of England nobody gives a fuck about Kane. Haaland is already twice his popularity internationally. If the difference in wages truly is ~150K a week, that can easily be offset by the increase in revenues etc.
people on bluemoon say the weirdest things with complete confidence, it really is baffling

IMO - and its just my opinion - Kane is the perfect striker for us.

He can - and will score 20-30 goals a season and he will also come deep and allow team-mates to run beyond him so that they score 10-15 each season (which I could easily see 4 of Foden / Mahrez, Gundogan // Grealish & De Bruyne doing).

The shame is that he's 27, not 24 or 25, but I really dont see that as being that big a problem.

I wonder if there's any truth to the Gabriel Jesus to Juventus stories. Wouldn't make sense to bring someone like Kane in and then sell.
Would if we play with Torres as the back up number 9 and use a false 9 when Kane rests or misses games.

Makes me think Bernardo is likely staying and Jesus is pushed out with no spot for Jesus on a wing when he doesn't play up front.
