It's just my opinion.torres can be a good signing but can he be a 20 goals a season player
pep loves the rotation and the false 9 so maybe torres will be asked score more goals
Whenever he gets into the box it looks like a job he relishes I really think he could be our new Kun

Well he was 23, had 33 international caps and had already scored 100 goals for Atletico. And he was a club record fee at the time iirc so not like he was a Ferran Torres tbhWho we bought as a young prospect.

We arent buying Harry Kane, thank Christ. We arent a club that buys 28yr old Van Persies, that's their job. We wont buy a striker because they are stupid money. We won the league without one, and we would have won the European Cup without one too

We wanted Van Persie, for the same reason we want Kane, age doesn’t matter when you’re as lethal as them. He also turns 28 in a few weeks, I know it sounds better quoting him as older. We didn’t win the European cup though, maybe that was the missing link? Maybe it got telling that teams that prepared for the false 9 faired very well against us in the end. For £150m which would you prefer?
A) kane (5 year contract)
B) nuno mendes, camavinga & Alexander Isak. (5 year contract)
Some might say kane, but another opinion is its a lot of cash. Cash that could be better used in the squad. Also its highly reasonable to question that kane can last longer than 2 years, meaning 3 years taking up massive wages for being a sicknote.
