Couldnt agree more.However they wont pick him as he is not the best batsman.My old grandad used to say batsmen get the runs and bowlers take wickets not the orher way round

Agreed. A team used to consist of six batsman, keeper/ batsman, a bowling all rounder and three out and out bowlers.
These days it does seem different but I may be wrong.
Broad is a more than capable nine leaving Jimmy and why not Parkinson.
