Cracking game on a good cricket wicket. Give me that any day over a flat track that offers the bowlers nothing, and some of the grounds with short boundary's where a miss hit can fly for 6. Malan may well have played himself out of the World Cup team tonight, you can't face 30 odd balls in t20 and have a strike rate under 100. Thought England missed a couple of tricks, Livingstone should have batted 1 or 2 places higher, and I'm amazed Parky wasn't selected at OT of all places.

You can if you win the game. Nobody scored really quick after the power plays tonight. It was really difficult against both teams spinners. If he did what bairstow rand Ali did we would have lost easily

Morgan, Fakhar and Hassan scored at a decent enough rate. He put the later batsman under pressure with his slow scoring. He struggles against spin, and with the WC in the middle east there's bound to be some spin friendly wickets. He's the one who makes way for Stokes imo.

Yeh you’re probably right about Stokes coming in for him. Still think tonight’s knock was crucial in us winning in the end. I would like him to be given another chance in our dreadful test batting line up though

Will you be watching the hundred mate? I fancy Manchester to do well in both, can certainly see the Women'a team winning it, and the Men being thereabouts.

The only way to stop poor over rates is 6 runs per over not bowled in the allotted time in an average test match day would be up past a 70 run penalty that would soon speed things up.

The constant team meetings and field changes play a big factor in everything taking so much longer. My solution would be to only allow the field to be changed at the start of the over and if the batsman changes.

Too sensible. They‘re more likely to introduce a ”power” over where the team batting get double scoring.
