That sounds a little bit like lemming number 2 following lemming number 1 off the edge of the cliff, because he didn’t want to get left behind. Personally I’m chilled either way because I know our club is well run and will be all over the financial implications of any deals, I’m just saying that I can see the logic in keeping our powder dry for now.
They‘re not going to fall off the cliff though are they. Teams like Chelsea and Utd always seem to be given a safety net.
If we don’t follow by buying the best available players that we can we will end up lowering the standard of our team and risk becoming also rans like Arsenal.

It’s a weird works where Sterling has produced way more than Jesus ever has but gets shit on here.It’s some weird world where city fans are happy that a Brazil starting forward could leave the club.
I like the guy, think he is a great player and adds more than most think - maybe that it doesn’t come across on tv but the work he puts in is immense and his goal scoring ratio isn’t actually that bad at all.
It’s either a sign that city fans are becoming entitled in the way we always used to accuse united fans of being or we have moved on way way more than we could ever have imagined. Not too sure which one it is to be honest.

Maybe he does need a move away, I don't know. I do know he's a much better footballer than he's often credited with on here. It's a bit disrespectful to him when posters only offer a little praise to him for his work rate.

Sorry for asking but if they are non football people then why would a signing of any kind get them giddy? Just curious like the rest of us.I don’t think many know, and as stated before quite a few are no football people (so not as excitable as city fans about a signing) - just top class in their profession. A lot of non football people have been brought in at CFG based on just wanting the best person for the job on the non football side - makes sense to me.
