Agreed we lost 6 games last season in league, and still won it be 12 pts. The winning team next season will not lose 6 games.

As it stands we haven’t brought anyone in and lost two players. Neither played staring roles so may not be seen as a loss, we can’t rely on no striker again and we certainly can’t rely on rivals having really poor seasons. United have improved and looking to more and Liverpool won’t be as inconsistent as last year with VVD returning also. It’s accepted throughout chelsea have a better manager now too. We was able to claw back from our awful start last season due to signing Dias (into the season which is where my points going) being incredibly consistent with others faltering. The league will be won by a decent amount more points than we won it last year I reckon. Been burnt before not improving on title winning squads that’s why I’m very hopeful we start getting the signings in.

Did this source give any indication of knowing when our fixtures actually are while they were at it ?

If we don’t win it some be it, can’t every season, just hope we play good football.
 
i get the feeling its going to be fast when we do GO in the transfer market and players are lined up just ready to sign the paperwork. we will wake up to news or it will be a 10pm breaking news

my bet is for friday this week city will drop the news of a major signing

You're coming across as though we narrowly avoided relegation. We pissed the league!

You would expect to hear more from the club than what we have.

I do wonder if there are more things at play here, that we aren't privy to

We did, in a year with no challengers. That takes nothing away from us however in other seasons especially the most recent, we may not have caught back up if any other side shown any sort of consistency. We done extremely well clawing it back and capitalising on others failings. If you think we can start as poor and lose as many games next season and win the league then you’re extremely optimistic.
