Next Manager after Pep

I think if miraculously Arteta makes some sort of breakthrough and figures it all out he'd be high on the target list.
If he succeeds at Arsenal he will stay there. If he fails he will not be coming to City.

Playing style? Some of it has been sleep inducing, death by 1000 passes. Mancinis team played plenty of fast attacking football with an end product. Plenty of times over the last few seasons with Pep it has been borderline boring. Light years ahead my arse.
I agree mate tho youll get shit off most on here.
sometimes it just needs speeding up and mixing up a bit.

not complaining obviously, but we are allowed to moan if we wish… arent we ?

You should never go back, but Bobby gave us out best days ever. The 2011 FA cup semi, FA cup final, the sick swan, the Vinny inspired win that put the title in our grasp and of course 93 20 . While so disappointed last night was pleased for Bibby he deserved it
Next manager have not got a clue hope it's something we won't have to think about for a while.
We should be planning for it right now otherwise we’ll stumble into a post pep period of chaos.

Trusting playing legends has been disastrous and produced the likes of OGS, Ryan Giggs, Lampard, Rooney, De Boer, Bruce, Keane, Rikaard.....the list goes on. That's why, much as I'd love to, I can't see Vinny being the man.

The decision will be properly considered and someone new will probably have emerged by the time Pep leaves. Don't laugh.......I personally think Graham Potter will be one to watch.

Nail on the head. I've had moments over the past few seasons that I even wished Pellegrini would come back for a while to give the opposition a kick of the ball.
Only 'moments' though...
It's great winning trophies but the last few seasons have made me realise that I'd prefer to see quicker football and more challenging opposition.
To be honest, I hope that Liverpool and Chelsea (and maybe a few others) improve and make a real competition of it for a few seasons.

We're down to the level of utd if pep goes. The only thing that gives me hope is that our owners are the best ever. They will be planning for that event, unlike utd, arse, lfc, spurs etc.
I wouldn't put money on that. We didn't exactly have any plans for Silva, Kompany, Aguero, Dzeko, etc to be replaced when they left...

If by any chance our owners think the likes of either Kompany or Arteta is the answer, they've got a nasty shock coming!

If plans aren't already well advanced, I think we'll struggle to keep up with the top European clubs post-Pep.

OK, seriously - bring Mancini back :D
Personally he would be my choice, I would have him back tomorrow.
I Love Pep but his tinkering in big games drives me crazy and ID like to see more young players get more of a chance.
There have been many opportunities when games were convincingly won with 20 minutes left when young players could have been used as frequently somebody like Doyle was on the bench, but Pep always brought on a senior player.

Pep annoys me at times for them reasons, the CL final being the big one. People are on another planet though if they feel domestically anybody else would have achieved what he had done. That’s why only Rednose aside nobody has.
I don’t recall Mancini being someone who brought the youth through? Can’t remember many of them to be honest, league cup being the main place they got a run out. Maybe the difference why Pep has won 4 out of 5 and Mancini none in his time? Give me record breaking success over a youth player getting ten mins at the end of a game any day.

Was there nothing Mancini did with the team ever that bothered people? Or is it only Pep that does that?
