READ this one. Even more fun. Damn these tears!

: This incarnation of Manchester City was formed in 2008. As much as MK dons is Wimbledon. It isn’t a real club. It’s hollow. Tell me what roots remained? 2 or 3 mascot players? They know that too. They comfort themselves with the thought that everyone is jealous. If only your club could be owned by a emirate state in an effort to legitimise a virtual dictatorship via soft power sports ownership. If only.

As a set of supporters they are desperately searching for an identity, a meaning, in this brave new era. Nothing organic, no set backs, no pain and redemption. Just a machine. A efficient machine but a machine nonetheless. Win. Sheikh smile. Win. Sheikh Smile. Win. Worst still, the leach fans begin to come out in force. Migrating from FCB, RM, United & Chelsea. Diluting what little remained of that community asset.

When I talk to Manchester City fans about post 2008 City, you see the little death behind their eyes. Emotionless, blank and rehearsed. Now I mention, Goater, Dickov, the Kippax, Joe Royle, Weaver at Wembley, the fire flickers again. Passion & meaning. How does that silver taste? Was it worth your soul?
The current incarnation of Villa was formed in 2018 when the club was taken over by a billionaire Egypt business man and a billionaire US businessman. That is 10 years after MK Dons and Manchester City. The rest can be repeated unchanged.

What a sorry person. He deserves only to be laughed at.

Yep Grealish signed a new 5 year deal in September time I think.

I seem to recall SWP signed a new contract literally a couple of months before going to Chelsea?

Suarez did the same with Liverpool.

Contracts don't really mean a thing these days, sadly.
No they don't unfortunately...

Although the SWP thing was different. We desperately needed money, he was our most valuable asset, he genuinely wanted to stay & even cried when he left :'-(

And of course they wouldn’t swap places with us in an instant….

A scouse fan on Twitter has just questioned if Grealish is even one of the best 20 wingers in the world and some of the names on it are hilarious. It's almost as if last season never happened and he hasn't been carrying Villa or the last 4 years mainly on his own.

Did he have the legend Jordan Ibe on his list?

Pretty much sums up the Villa fans at Wembley last year. They’re fucking mental, never known a fan base to be so bitter towards City. That’s going to go up a notch when we sign their local hero.
Yeah it is interesting to be analysed as a City fan base by a member of another fan base who to a man refused to condemn one of their own who assaulted a six year old City fan at Wembley.

I don't think there is a release clause and terms have been agreed between us and Grealish. Just down to the clubs to agree the fee.

All Sam Lee is really saying is that as far as he is concerned, everything is sorted and unless Grealish u-turns the deal will go ahead. I don't know why he has felt the need to say this 50 million times and embarrass himself so publically in the way he has done, but as I understand it he is correct.

Sadly, I now believe there is a release clause after all, City have activated it, Grealish (or his agent) has agreed terms IF he is to move and his family have basically packed their bags.

I have already moved on. If he does u-turn, then bonus. Otherwise good riddance. If you don't wanna be here, laters.
