Jack Grealish

Funnily enough, just like in real life, i don't ignore people with differing views too mine.
Well, it isn't my view that Bernardo wants out. It's based on what City journos/other sources have said about him. Now you can choose to believe that, or you can question everyone and everything till transfers are sorted. That goes for every incoming or outgoing as well, I don't see you arguing whether we're really in for Grealish? Because we've already got Bernardo, or questioning whether Grealish has said that. Idk, maybe you have been!

Pmsl! Does Kvillan really think care about destabilising Villa?

The only thing destabilised right now at Villa are their fans.
They are about to be taught a lesson on how the footballing world works and its one many of us have had to learn ourselves as City fans in the past.
When the big boys come knocking, the player eventually leaves to improve himself and his career. It's as old a story as the game itself.
Then comes the 5 stages of grief, which as of right now is slap bang between denial and anger.

It’s interesting to read Villa Talk.

Lets face it VT are, in the main, going to believe Jack is staying as that is what they want to happen.

Meanwhile, shock horror, BM posters believe Jack is coming to City as that is what we want to happen.

Honestly I change my mind most days. I try to avoid confirmation bias on here but it’s difficult!

Today my money would be on he is coming to City. I think there is obviously something going on and the very few reporters that we know are reliable with City info are saying the same thing that it looks close.

But the thing I keep coming back to is that if this were all nonsense and just press speculation I think Villa’s owners would have said so by now. A denial a player is leaving is never water tight but there hasn’t been anything from them at all.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen two sets of supporters who, in the main, believe they are so sure one way or the other. Someone has it very wrong and whether it’s us or them it’s really interesting.

I know people are annoyed at how Villa behaved at Wembley and reading their opinion of our club they have, like most supporters of other clubs, believed the press nonsense about how soulless we all are. They also understandably have no idea what the PL court case is about and genuinely think their owners can stop Jack leaving because we are about to be banned.

However, I won’t be gloating if we do get him. If someone pinched Foden I’d be gutted. We are lucky that our owners have ensured sustainable success which means that we sometimes can buy a player that would otherwise stay. Villa are not in that position yet.

I think the main people at City have had a meeting and just said "we must stop Villa at any cost, they are the team we are really worried about. The 31 points we finished ahead of them least season was a bit of a close shave and we can't risk it again this season."

100% this is all about trying to derail the Villa train. We can’t afford them to finish 8th next season. No way.

My guess:
Release clause is 100 mil. City want to lower down the price, Villa want us to pay rc. City are essentially saying that we will trigger the release clause at the last moment if you do not come down now, basically destabilising Villa late into the transfer window. So if you want to have outgoings done on time, negotiate now.

Well in Txixi. Thanks for the update.
