Jack Grealish

Fcuk me, the Villa fans here in work are really upset over this, really angry and emotional.
My "hope he stays at Villa but he won't because he wants to win things" utterances really aren't going down very well
Good job we dont carry concealed guns in this coutry otherwise you'd be dead already ;)

Remember just before SWP went to Chelsea, that's how Villa fans feel rn. Feel for them. But looking back, Shaun got a PL medal and FA Cup medal. He wouldn't have got that with us. And he bloody deserved one bit of silverware.

Kane is a similar position. 28 and nothing. Grealish (25) didn't even win the championship - it was a play off final.
I'd say Kane deserves a pot more than Jack.

Having been around Villa fans for the majority of my life, it's nice to see everyone in here understanding exactly how they are seen by all the other fan bases in the area.

Tuchel played seven defensive players in the Champions League Final and that was lauded as a tactical masterclass. We just need to find England’s Kanté

Think i went too far when i said " i suppose he'll make a decent squad addition in case of injuries & he can play in the League Cup"

The only thing destabilised right now at Villa are their fans.
They are about to be taught a lesson on how the footballing world works and its one many of us have had to learn ourselves as City fans in the past.

I wouldn't mind but they've been taught this lesson plenty of times. We're going to have to start charging tuition fees at this rate. Might as well knock it off the Grealish fee.

Can’t say I blame them. Villa do seem like a well run club, I hope the money - if this deal happens - lets them push on. Obviously that goes against our objective to derail them

I was reading an article a few months ago (don't ask me where as I read so many football data analytics articles being a big data geek) but it was before we were strongly linked with buying Grealish.

It stated that in all the top five European Leagues Grealish was more important statistically to his club than any other player.

Its no wonder Villa fans get annoyed!

I can understand the frustration at losing their star player (if he does join us) but it's not as if he's leaving for free is it. Always gets me this, it's going take an almost British record transfer fee possibly more. If he wants to move to try and have a better chance to win major silverware then that's football. But they'll be heavily compensated and can do a lot with that money. Not meaning to come across arrogant (far from it, seen more bad times with City than good).

Interesting, maybe a bit like Kinky was for us? Got us out of our seats but it just seemed our tactics were “give it to Kinky”. I loved that little Georgian maestro gutted when he left, but maybe he wasn’t as great for the “team” as he was for us fans

Pmsl! Does Kvillan really think care about destabilising Villa?

Jesus Christ.
Can you imagine Khaldoon, Soriano etc sat around the boardroom discussing a machiavellian plot to destabilise Villa.
They won a few league titles in the 1800s and think that still makes them relevant

Really mate, because a lot of the ones I've interacted with are desperate enough to use the ffp card, when they conveniently forget about the £56 million they sly'd in
