It is not as if it wasn't predicted. Levy was always going to do his best to disrupt City. He is a wind-up merchant. I don't buy into all the media shit about him being a savvy operator in the transfer market because the delays he has caused have also fucked up Spurs this season. Levy upsets everyone, that's probably why they lost the Olympic stadium battle with West Ham.
The Haaland saga has also followed the same pattern as all Raiola deals. It will never happen without a huge off the books pay-off for Raiola. We just can't risk it with the FFP probe and it looks like Abramovich will just intervene and pay the £40m tax-free bribe to Raiola (with no scrutiny from UEFA or the PL). City needed to act more quickly with a take-it-or-leave it offer for these deals and go somewhere else if there was no progress.

does make me laugh when city play other clubs and all our officials are sat with theirs
back stabbers the lot of them. Levy is a **** full stop

He had damaged ankle ligaments in the Euros. Hopefully they have healed now, but no one knows.

torn ankle ligaments can be long term and hard to heal if you are made to play with injections the damage only get worsts. KDB needed a full summer off to recharge but sadly the euros put pay to that and now the injury on top could be a month before we see KDB back

It wasn't torn, he wouldn't be able to play with a torn ligament and would be out for months, we'd have heard if that was the case.
"But I especially want to thank the medical staff. It was a miracle that I played today because there was definitely damage to my ankle. A tear in my ligaments.

100% the reports was a torn ankle ligament

I think Grealish and Foden would be the other way round.
They could swap positions during different phases as David Silva and KDB often used to do in our devastating 2017/18 line-up when we effectively had an interchangeable number 10 and 8. No one has more flexible players than Pep. It sometimes comes unstuck but when it works (like that 3-1 United home win where Gundo scored that incredible last goal) we are unplayable.

I wouldn't be surprised if part of the specific interest in Grealish and Kane was due to them being English.

Having a lot of prominent England players in the team is probably a dream come true for the marketing department.
It might yet have something to do with regulations changing from Brexit and the FA pushing for more UK players in squads

I’ve noticed united have moved more in that direction as well. I wonder if the clubs know something we don’t about possible future changes to squad quotas, especially post-Brexit?
