Celtic Thread - 2021/22

That's a desperate result for Celtic. Out of the CL before the end of July. They haven't got enough half decent players. It's going to be a long season for them.

A lot of fingers will be pointed at Ange but after a dismal season, the owners have done the club no favours by strengthening the squad.

If there's not an influx of decent signings then might as well send the title over to Rangers now and call it quits.

Fc Jablonek of Czech Republic in the Europa league 3rd round beckon. Get the lights ready!

To be fair midget land are not the walk over everyone assumes. Have had some good results in recent years

Don't think they are the same as they were a year or so ago. Brentford just signed their best player, they've had issues with another couple.

If you watched the games, Celtic outplayed them first game until they went a man down. Thought they were the better team tonight as well until they let in another stupid goal. Not 1 of that Celtic defence will start the season, but they will feel as if they should have won. That's how poor the Midgies were.

Sell Frimpong your first choice right back for 13m in January, second choice right back is also sold in January as far as I remember the Israeli
Replace him with the loan signing of John Joe Kenny
Kenny’s loan ends in May
Still haven’t replaced him despite knowing they’d this CL qualifier in mid July
Did the same at left back when Laxalts loan ended

sold Ajer their best center back for 13m and signed no replacement in time to play in these games
The replacement cost 4m as the downsizing continues

and so it goes on….
