I've seen this said a few times on here (possibly by you, perhaps somebody else) you do realise in that FA cup game, Rodri also played and was even worse than dinho right?
He was playing in a one-man midfield in the weirdest shape ever seen from a professional team, in fairness.

That fanbase are something else. Remind me of the scousers.

TBH, I think Spurs lot aren't far behind. They think Levy's spending 100 million on new players to play with Kane.

They've definitely got that scouse entitlement thing going on. Yes, they once won the European Cup, an amazing achievement. But a lot of their fanbase seem to have conveniently forgotten that they were a Championship side only a couple of seasons ago and haven't won a major trophy since 96.

They've now got wealthy owners and think they're on the cusp of something (long term, maybe they will kick on), yet hate City for having wealthy owners. I get that us signing some of their key players won't have endeared us to them, but the level of vitriol towards City from them in comparison to fans of other clubs is weird given we've never been direct rivals.

The annoying thing Spurs fans do is this hyperinflation of what Levy's going to get them.

News breaks about us signing Grealish for a British record fee and all the Spurs fans start chirping about how if Grealish is worth 90 then Levy wont sell for less than 160/180/200m depending on how stupid the particular fan is.

Gabby could play with Kane. From the left or right. They could be a great foil for each other
And who do you drop?

Sterling, Mahrez, Foden, Grealish, KDB, Gundo, (Bernardo), Torres?

If Kane comes I can't see him staying around, hope I am wrong.

To be fair I think Gabby is better than a back up.

A guy I know claiming itk status says Pep loves Gabby’s work rate.
Tbf from the sound of things whether Jesus stays or not seems to be more on him than the club, although that's just me putting 2 and 2 together. So hopefully he's willing to stay.

Everyone gets dropped. It's a squad game. We'll play about 70 odd games a season. Even KDB will sit out 10-15 games I reckon if Kane comes in.
It's possible he's seen the likes of Gundogan, Stones, Mahrez, Foden, Zinchenko, Bernardo etc all bide their time at one stage or another and fight their way into the team eventually that he may fancy his chances too.

Squad rotation. The counter argument that people have been posting when others have pointed out Kanes potential injury issues is that unlike spurs we will be able to rotate or rest him....even within games as well as game to game

Im pretty sure the maximum amount of games we can play is 62, and that’s if we get to every final.
