Harry Kane

My mind goes back to the last time we played Spurs at home in the league with a crowd present.

All of SS3 started singing:

Stand up
If you’ve won fuck all
Stand up
If you’ve won fuck all

To a man and woman we all sat down and left the Spurs fans stood up. A few sheepish grins on their side :)

The timing of Walker posting that video with his 3 medals the day before Kane goes on strike. Brilliant.
"Come on in, the trophies are lovely!"

Further Pearls from the Caf

"I think a deal will be done but on Spurs’ terms. Kane mentioned a price in the Neville interview no doubt informed by City what they’d pay. So City decide the price, Kane goes on strike and Spurs give in? Who the feck do these cnuts think they are? They don’t own English football. Milk them dry."
Those oil wells are nice and deep, so they can try and be typical spursy, and fail

They have spoken directly to Kane to say he can leave.

Has been told to keep his head down and leave it to the negotiators.
Since you've posted this we've heard the news that he hasn't shown up to training.

Are Tottenham trying to hold onto him until the last minute and Kane is trying to speed everything up in this case?

Van Dijk wasn't halfway through a 6-year contract when he tried to force a move to Liverpool, and neither was Sterling when he tried to force a move to us. It's not the forcing a move that's the issue for Kane, it's trying to force a move when he's the most valuable striker in English football and only halfway through a massive contract. If he thinks a move's going to happen because of this then he's greatly misinformed and being badly advised. We all know City can't afford Kane and Grealish unless we offload Bernardo Silva for £60m. Who's got £60m lying around for Bernardo Silva? Anybody? Until we get rid, we can't bring Kane in. Danny Ings maybe, but not Kane.
Please clarify exactly why City cannot afford Grealish and Kane at the same time.

45m in sales this year and more fringe players to go, so the pot is gaining.

In addition Chelsea spent 222m last season with just over 50m incoming, so pretty much where City would be at the current figures, but City can’t spend, so why?

Surely a huge bid must go in soon? If Kane is already skipping training. Surely we won't leave him hanging in that awkward situation for weeks?

Not at all. You pay what we want. We hold the cards here, not you or Harry Kane. He’s on a 3 year contract and can easily go for 100 mil abroad next year if we really want. You tapped him up and you buy trophies every year, so you simply pay the asking price we want. Cough up 160 million and he’s yours. If not, fuck off and we keep him. Nothing Harry Kane can do about it unless he buys out his contract.
You actually think a foreign club is spending 100m on a 29 year old Harry Kane.

I’m sure your info is good, but how do you reckon this correlates with him effectively going on strike? If he’s been told to keep his head down, leave it to them, you can leave etc, then why does he need to do this? To try to lower the fee to a level City are willing to go to?
