The thing is Grealish has already been talked around once when he signed a new contract. Lange probably kept his end of the bargain, spending more to improve the squad and they got to a cup final and have improved. To get to the next level though they are going to have to first attract and then buy a fair few more top players. By the time they've done that and see some success, if they do, Grealish will be close to retirement. It's not a professional decision anymore it's an emotional one, that's all they have to hold onto him, emotion.
