Harry Kane

Maybe I'm being naive but it seems like sides are way too terrified of losing their "top" players. Barca should have snapped our hand off for 100m+ for Messi, Spurs should be doing the same. They've won nothing with Kane there and judging by the Euros there's a good possibility he's at the start of a Torres/Sanchez style slide. Despite being the "best" in the league and having the season of his life they finished below a side managed by Moyes playing with Lingard up front. Knocked out of Europe by FC Bananabread of Luxembourg, how much worse can it actually get? Take the money and buy 2/3 talented young players who have the ability to run.

Football is moving ever more towards a cohesive whole rather than having the supposed best player in his position. Youth, energy and intensity more and more important. The first time we don't have a star up front we reach the CL final, Chelsea have no stand outs with a manager only there a couple of months and win the thing. Liverpool and Chelsea lose their big star Coutinho/Hazard and win it shortly after, something to think about. For me even if we could get him on a free Kane would be a massive risk, hope we've left no stone unturned with this.

When Harry has been out injured we don't do as bad as is thought, will we miss him? Ofc but I have no problem in him wanting out as long as we get what is reasonable and he doesn't act like a child while doing so.
Spud dry your eyes. Kane is a top player and will be missed. Stop lying to yourself.

Spurs are in debt but will still manage a top ten finish. You won’t win anything as that’s what you do. Maybe finish 1 place higher than arsenal to deem it acceptable.

Levy is a myth. Anyone who runs a club into so much debt must be questioned.

Anyway, carry on making shit up ;)

Enjoyed reading that perspective. Something a bit different to think about.

I get that you are upset. It’s ok to have a little cry. Maybe try on a Chelsea top just to see how it feels;)

In amongst your incoherent ramblings you mentioned playing better without Kane. I am glad you are getting through the appropriate stages of grief.

Its all going to be ok. The European conference cup awaits the big teams.

I literally said we will miss him? Are you really that much of a WUM? lol

U read Modric's book, or Berbatov's, players who have good reason to pelt him, neither do. They say yes they were frustrated but both say that now they understand he wassimply doing his job. Again I am not his biggest fan but he has some a lot for us.
The only SPurs book I have read is the Glory Game. Brilliant. I don't think people in the game tend to criticise eacch other too much but Levy made a huge blunder in appointing Mourinho. That was just inexplicable.
