Yes, although it was more along the lines of “This will make you happy you bluenosed ****, I’ve heard Grealish is nailed on to City and has agreed terms with them already.”

I replied about being shocked Villa would agree before the Euros (we all thought he would be starting and that would start back then and expected his value to rocket) and he said City were going to pay his clause and that the clause existed for any team in the CL and was the only reason for Grealish signing a new contract last summer.

I immediately relayed all the info on here with the usual disclaimers. I presumed it was likely true as Andy was not exactly thrilled at the news so would be a weird thing to make up.

The same bloke told me that Aguero had ordered 30 shirts a couple of weeks before he announced he was leaving.

For anyone who doesn’t know who Fanatics are, they basically run the merchandise side of things for the club.

No they don't. They were binned at the end of June. I found out when I was chasing an order that I placed in May that they managed to fook up.

I think they've got the delusion of Arsenal fans mixed with the aggression of Liverpool fans. Jarring lol.

Best player on the pitch when beating Liverpool 7,2. Punched in the head in a local derby by a fan then carries on to score the winning goal. Their best player getting them promoted. Scores the goal that then keeps them in the league the following year. Sounds like a player who hides for me.

The reply was to Cantwell, although Jack has a habit of disappearing to.

Time will tell, just don't get the fan boy adulation when he has not even pulled on the shirt
