Bear in mind though it's only the fans you see online. Like with our fans you can't judge an entire fanbase on that. Most likely the true Villa fans will wish him well and will see his ambition, especially now his wages aren't the main reason for wanting to leave. The same bloke told me that Aguero had ordered 30 shirts a couple of weeks before he announced he was leaving.
For anyone who doesn’t know who Fanatics are, they basically run the merchandise side of things for the club.

Totally fair mate, and I agree with that. Unfortunately, in this day and age, it's hard to separate online and offline. This is the social media age, maybe not for the older generation, but my time at work or off work is spent a lot online, hence we may believe some of things hold no real value, but you'd be surprised to hear how people in real life have slowly started to form these opinions off socials. Really look no further than some of the journos talking ill about our club, saying the most outrageous shite with little to no research, and posting stuff taken off forums (like Tolm's info stolen by some fairly regarded journos). Not to mention, the biggest indication was that Grealish clip that went viral, some young bloke chatting about how a professional football player shouldn't go to City because formed 10 years ago etc etc, this has stemmed from social media unfortunately, even if people in real life don't care or are aware it's false.
