Turned it off as soon as I saw that fucking moron Brendan patting Pep and grinning.

We had better beat them in the PL.

No excuse for not scoring today, we had plenty of easy chances, yet constantly Fück them up. Surely we must do shooting practice during training.

Disappointing after having dominated the 2nd half. Goalkeeper was good and that's about it. Can't really say that anyone who came in today put any pressure on the players who will likely be starting in a few weeks time. I hope to God we are not looking at Mendy or Cancelo as our starting full backs.
Mahrez was show boating today, trying to score a wonder goal when he had several chances to shoot and wanted to beat 1 more player first...
Their keeper had 1 save to make, shows how impotent we were upfront.

Onto the game - rusty and sloppy which should be expected considering who we have available and how much they've played against a team that will probably line up that way for most of the season. Steffen I thought was good as was Ake, I think its looking like it'll be a bit of a rough few weeks until the regulars are put back in and get fit.

I agree that when we saw the respective line ups, we looked doomed before a ball was kicked, but it never panned out that way. Against a very strong Leicester team, I thought we did really well and could have won it if we took the chances created.

Good run out for those likely to be featuring in the games ahead and a great experience for the young uns.

Exactly the sort of thing a bitter Rag and Scouser would say after losing it.

It’s a lovely piece of silverware, every single club in Europe has it (or their equivalent) in their honours lists, and managers like Pep always say it’s a proper trophy.

I’ll be over it by 21:00 tonight, but I’m very disappointed in losing.

I have tge radio on and the tele on zero vol. The timing is out by a few secs but It is more bearable than the shitestains begging for us to lose.
