Tomorrow will be the farewell and why he joined PSG. They are building a fantastic squad.
However I do wonder if Mbappe is off to Real with Messi joining?

I’ve no love for PSG, but FFP is absolute horseshit so if they drive a horse and cart through it then I can live with that.

It's Barcelona who have destroyed FFP.

It will be impossible for them to reconcile their €585m losses in the past 2 seasons with any form of financial control, meaning UEFA will be forced to ban them for 3 years until this years loss is out of the FFP window, or they'll have to change FFP beyond all recognition.

I would say that’s never going to happen, but with Barca upsetting UEFA with the super league stuff, they’ve got no friends at the top anymore.

Should we all become Cules now? :)

FFP is a bullshit concept in implementation. Mostly it cements the status quo - an up-and-coming side having come into wealth - for example, due to purchase by a wealthy owner - is limited in how much it can spend. And thus the rich stay rich.

Anyhow, yeah... back on track - it looks like Messi might well sign for PSG. PSG have massively improved this xfer window - add in Messi - and they'll be the odds on favorite to win the C/L.

Meanwhile, we've fucking signed Grealish (I really like Grealish - this remark isn't a slight on him - instead it's about my frustration that we've made little or no improvement to our squad as a whole window - at least so far) and may lose Silva and Laporte.

PSG are taking advantage of the fact they will be allowed some things before the Catar World Cup that won’t be ignored if made afterwards. Being ruthless and easy favorites for this season’s UCL. Having Navas and still getting Dollarumma is ruthless. And ruthlessness more often than not pays off.
