Erling Haaland

Paving the way for this kid to go to United next season is a mistake that will haunt us for awhile. In fact, even though Chelsea made a smarter signing with Lukaku than we will/would with Kane, they too are contributing with that.
Depends upon how much the deal costs.

IF, he went to the rags great in terms of the player, but he already has baggage in terms of Riola, and the rags have already seen the damage that guy can do with Pogba, not once but TWICE.

The relationship between Haaland and Raiola isn’t the same relationship that Pogba has with Raiola. And even the situation with Pogba would be different if United found some success. Agents want players they consider stars to be winning

To be fair, we don't know that.

I don't understand why the Haaland family want Riola on board, it's strange and not a good sign for me.

Raiola is a damn good agent and his worst features can be found in most agents. He does like his public persona to be talked about, differently from some of the other jerks. But behind the scenes, they operate the same way.

Also, Haaland won’t be playing for PSG. Everyone knows that.

Riola for his players is a brilliant agent , not so sure the clubs would agree.

The Haaland deal must be incredibly complex, very strange, despite a seemingly clear run, Chelsea pulled out quickly.

PSG for me. Mbappe is off no matter what and they surely can't be left with a 35 year old Messi and a 31 year old Neymar as their options.

Plus Mino and Leonardo seem to get on like a house on fire. I think PSG is a good shout. Can't see him going to United because I don't think Ole is a big enough draw as a coach.

Can't see it, he is too good and ambitious for the French League.

Madrid or the Rags and a possible outsider in Bayern although unlikely.

Thats what everyone said about Neymar and probably Messi now. Thing is everyone wants a shot at the CL and PSG is one of the 3-4 clubs (Us, Bayern, Chelsea/Pool at a stretch) that give a shot at it regularly. I don't think Madrid can afford both Mbappe and Haaland with their financial situation. Bayern I can definitely see happening.

To be fair, Neymar going there was lunacy for a player of his talent and at the peak of his powers.

Messi has a choice of one, PSG, the only club that could afford and want him.

Mbappe and PSG is a stepping stone for him.

PSG are becoming the Harlem Globe Trotters of football.

I can tell you that here in Brazil a lot of pundits thought his move to PSG was a good idea since his main goal is winning the Ballon D’Or, and he never would have been a protagonist at Barcelona while Messi stayed there. Funny enough, at PSG he hasn’t quite been the main protagonist either, especially after France won the World Cup. And now he has Messi. His final chance is winning the Catar World Cup as the protagonist for Brazil and he knows it, but having a good season at PSG and winning the UCL will be of help too

A waste of what should have been a great career, I think when older and he looks back, he will have a lot of regrets.

I think his career has been great already. He won titles with a club with a lot of history in Brazil (Pele’s club!), was part of an iconic trio at Barcelona with Messi and Suarez, won the Champions League there and will very possibly win another at PSG. He’s an Olympics gold medalist like Messi. Has won the Copa America. And in Catar will have a decent chance at the World Cup and possibly the World Cup after that (though no longer as the protagonist, I would think). Besides all this, made so much money that he will never be able to spend and become a global superstar. It’s quite a life.

I used the wrong words, he has had a great career without doubt.

But don't you think considering his talent he now should be talked about as better than Messi and Ronaldo but has he even reached their level?

I think the problem is being a player in the same generation as those two and not having started the career in Europe like them, or at least not leaving Brazil sooner. He waited a bit longer so he could achieve things with Santos here. It’s something Messi doesn’t have in Argentina. His frustration is not having won the Ballon D’Or yet. But again, he probably would already have if it weren’t for those two.

Haaland is not the next Messi or Neymar, he is the next Benzema. Nobody can deny he has talent but people talking about him as the world's best player in the future are, imo, off the mark.

How about the next Cristiano Ronaldo? Or Lewandowski?

The issue he’s always going to find, like Lewa, is belonging to a shit national team that will never win anything
