Harry Kane

yep feel the same now mate, its obvious we have submited our value to Levy, all this delaying things and pissing about from him, city need to walk IMO

Just don't want us being held to ransom, because everyone thinks they can bend us over backwards.

On our side.

As a rule he's pro City and our owner. I have read enough of his question and reply articles in the Daily United from Rags, Dippers, Arsenal fans , and fans of other clubs who hate City, to know that. He constantly attacks UEFA, the UEFA cartel clubs, and FFP. As a rule he gives City an easy ride as a journalist, bar the Super League debacle.
Spoke to Martin at Porto airport the morning after the final as i started my epic journey home... He seemed a thoroughly decent guy and I didn't detect an anti-city vibe at all, the total opposite if I'm honest... He only said that Pep sometimes "tinkers too much"... I agree

Have to say getting slightly bored of this saga now. Either stump up or sack it off IMO.

I don't think there is a saga. There is just the Levy PR machine at work.

Spurs can't sell him to City before we play them. That would be carnage. The first home game with fans back and Kane will overshadow the whole affair.

He wont play this weekend and he will be announced a day or so after it I reckon. Until then we will hear little. Spurs will continue to pretend they want top players across Europe and then end up buying one bang average player and settling in for a nice top 10 finish and their tour of European's most unknown destinations. Places Ryanair land at 50 miles out of where you actually want to go.

utter nonsense man

Spurs are desperate to tie up a deal for another striker before selling Kane. Problem they've got is nobody decent wants to join Spursy. Although with Inter Milan in liquidation Martinez may not have a choice. Can see Vlahovic staying at Fiorentina for another year on an improved contract with a decent sized buy out.

We need to sign him, still don't get why on earth we payd 100 mil for Grealish. We need a striker more and would have spend that money and more on Kane or Haaland.

Because £100m was the buy-out clause and Pep had asked for him.

I don’t think he’d accept the view himself that he gives City as ‘easy ride’, and it’s not a view I share either. He’s outspoken and independent minded enough on everything else, in sports, music and when he’s written on non-sporting issues that there is no logical reason for that. I’ve not gone back and checked, but I’m also fairly sure of watching him in the old Hold The Back Page days pre our takeover that he wasn’t noticeably pro City. He’s taken a view on FFP as an idea which stands out from most other journalists, so it can make it seem like he’s giving us an easy ride, but like @mccity i just think he’s fair. On issues outside FFP he can be as critical as anyone else.

No-one turned up in the big games and made a difference like Aguero did, and he did it consistently.

Harry Kane has never turned up for Spurs, or England, when it mattered.

Harry Kane churns out consistent numbers. Aguero turned out the consistent numbers and provided the cutting edge in some of our biggest games in the past decade. He was a legitimate game changer. Kane has never proven himself that player.

I don't see what everyone else is seeing. Kane would improve us but he's not the player some of you are making him out to be.
Can see why this post hasn`t got many likes !!
