So let me get this right Kane is negotiating with Levy and uses someone Levy recommends to do his negotiating.Apparently it wasn’t his brother who was his agent for that six year contract it was one Levy recommendations and now nowhere to be seen..
Covered in that amazing east of Scotland salt n sauce?Only one piece here in the Borders with a fish supper.
WTF is he on? It's only official when one of the clubs confirms it - and that never happens so it's never 'official'I'm glad that "it's official" that we are interested.
We’re not signing him for his intellectSo let me get this right Kane is negotiating with Levy and uses someone Levy recommends to do his negotiating.
Yeah that sound sensible.

You're putting may to much emphasis on the house. It was chosen to reply to a stupid example. If we must compare him to an asset I would us a coffee machine. Now we could sell the coffee machine to a cafe in the next down and bank the cheque or we could reject their offer. If we reject it we still own a coffee machine that will generate revenue for years to come and then be worthless. He's an asset that delivers on the pitch and has the potential to bring in 200m in CL revenue in 4 years as opposed to at best, regular EL football without him.
In relation to his value Lukaku is the perfect example to compare against. Lukaku went from Inter for £97m in a firesale, what is he worth in normal circumstances? Get that figure, add at least 25% to it and then another 10% England captain tax. £150m is fair market value, provably a little cheap if anything. Kane himself wanted to be bracketed with Messi and Ronaldo, neither of them would consider themselves worth less than £100m so why would he think otherwise? He's worth it, City can afford it (only another 6% of revenue) so what's the problem? No one is being shafted, just 3 parties looking to do what's best for them.
As for Levy, he's good at this type of thing, ie selling world class players. He's shit at everything else, his greed cost us millions with Eriksen, Vertogen and Rose. There would be a direct correlation between Spurs fans that like Levy and those that now hate Kane and the number would be very small. When the dust settles on all this Kane will remain a legend and welcome back any time. You can ignore the look at me types on twitter, they represent no one.

And if we want a coffee machine we will get one from Curry’s ;)Nice Jackanory.
Bottom line is if, we proceed to purchase, it will be to our valuation, not yours
If the story about Pau Torres is true (Spurs having a bid accepted and the player turning them down), it shows they are in turmoil. Top clubs don’t make offers without knowing the player is interested. There's been too much focus on the fee. I don't understand why Spurs supporters are so set on seeing Levy holding out for a bigger fee as some sort of W.
If Kane leaves you lose your best player and the leagues best striker. The extra 15 million, if Levy gets his way, will mean jack shit in the long term.
Spurs consistently make it difficult but always end up selling their big players and have no trophies to show for it. There's absolutely zero evidence that things will be different this time.
We'd still be on page 10 then, where's the fun in that.Next transfer window this board needs a ban on people posting random twitter itk's.
Just clogs up the threads unnecessary with pages of people arguing over them.

Agree. I feel the club want pep to win champs league within 2 years. If we win it with Kane then all is well. If we don’t then pep leaves us with an expensive player in Kane who will be past his best in 2 years in my opinion.
part of me wants to use what we have till a young world class players is available ie haaland or mbape but I’m not sure we have what we need right now either.
That just leaves the ones who argue about the perfect Chippy Tea.Next transfer window this board needs a ban on people posting random twitter itk's.
