I agree, I'm watching the guy play, understanding that Pep is one of the best managers ever, and asking myself am I missing something. He's so unbelievably shite that it just can't be that Pep doesn't see it, so what the hell is he playing at continuing to pick him?

Almost every game we see the same pattern that teams have now figured out.
Our slow, slow ,pass pass pass then pass some more results in forward players bullied by strong defenders. Slow midfielders easily by passed than a defence that gets ripped apart by pace and movement.

Why are everyone else’s players who played at the Euros seemingly ready to go? I would like to think it’s just good planning on our behalf for the rest of the season,‘but at the moment it translates to points lost

Stones (or Laporte) Walker, Zinchenko, Foden (obviously injured so not applicable), I’m that team and I think that’s a different result

appreciate other players who played at the Euros were in the team but that’s the nucleus of a back 4 left out

A loss can happen, but 3 in a row without scoring a goal and the feeling that a goal is not coming! That's worrying

Something need to change, maybe starting by less endless passing in the final third, and be quick when the opponent is not back and organised

As for Mendy, the adventure should stop.

Ferran torres is not a world beater, Jesus Navas 2.0 or Adam Johnson, good as a squad player but nothing more.

Well that was a load of shite , weakened team, nowhere near match fitness ,and we played a team who wanted it more .take the first twenty minutes away (we should have been 3-0 up)and it was an abysmal display .
Pep said he didnt think we were ready and the players obviously believed him , at least we have given some enjoyment to a lot of football fans tonight , big bad City humiliated , we move on.

We had 4 really good chances they had 1 a bit of an over reaction on here

Tbh mate I thought hey looked dangerous every time they attacked us . Our left hand side of defence was. Terrible and with zero attack we we’re never gonna win this game . We have zinchenko coming in at left back but cannot understand why we didn’t bring in a proper left back . At the minute there is an overreaction but people are panicking over and the lack of a striker and with us only in for Harry Kane it is a big worry .

No, and we've seen these periodic poor performances before. I've no idea why it happens. Slow play, misplaced passes, the complete antithesis of what we do. Do these great players have to occasionally get something out of their systems?Fortunately it doesn't last. Although it will happen again. But not often.

never seen it before , another first no doubt never to be seen again , file alongside owens winner at ot (time added on in time added for subs and over celebrating by us ) , new rules on corners for holding (away to stoke )sterling penalised ..stoke awarded a pen , red card for celebrating with fans that had encroached the pitch , sterling shoulder offside against west ham , spurs handball goal in the CL , aguero offside in the same game.....all funnily enough went against us but rules I wasnt aware of never to be seen again
