EVERY single team target him, EVERY one.You will loose every game with him playing, unless you can outscore the opposition. He guaranties goals for the opponent.
Torres and Ake are reasonably new to this side, Sterling had a poor season last year, but off the back of 2 magnificent ones.Wow, Mendy copping some flak on here, some of it justified. However, Sterling, Ake, Torres just as bad if not worse imo.
I suspect he is referring to 2 or 3 of our players being second to 50/50 balls, getting easily knocked off or dispossessed and being hesitant in the challenge. Some was down to fitness of course, not all. What does no team effort mean? There was plenty of effort from the team, even if it lacked a bit of energy. You don't have 66% possession in a game where the team does put in any effort or where there is a lack of co-ordination if that was what you meant.
The totting up principle.Wow, Mendy copping some flak on here, some of it justified. However, Sterling, Ake, Torres just as bad if not worse imo.

I hate to break it to you OB but his performance was indeed embarrassingly bad.Any touch Mendy had that wasn't perfect got slated, yet, for instance, the guy made the most passes of any player and had the second best pass completion. He also ranked second on key passes and tackles.
I need to watch the game on TV at some point and see if Mendy's poorer moments and there were some were that bad compared to those of his team mates.
Good luck with that -we're a 5 a side team.If there is a new loose style of reffing we need to adapt.
We are outmuscled and bullied by opponents too often.
We are being held and pushed in every situation and ref waves on.
We can't win a PL match playing like girls (sorry, dear girls!). To avoid fukcing transitions vs spurs or cheslsea or utd we have to take 5/6 yellows if need be. We have enough room for bookings and even if the odd suspension would appear, we could handle it.
The XI on the pitch have to be ready to fight, esp the likes of Mendy, Aké, Raz, Cancelo have to show more grit. Even Mahrez who never has a chance in a physical 1 on 1 is able to show the opponent he is no push-around. More aggression in defence needed.
No ruben+stones played a big part in that. Fern was doing what rodri could not even at 36...we've clearly needed athleticism in the holding role for a long time.
Id have stuck him down the middleI couldn't work out what was going on down that left hand side. Sterling and Grealish on top of each other, 36 year old Fernandinho trying to fill the gap left by Grealish. Mendy and Ake being torn apart every time Spurs countered.
I know it is only early days, but both Sterling and Grealish want to run with the ball, but in a give and go situation, someone has to give and someone has to go. They both want to go, so it didn't really work. One of them has to stand down and be less selfish.
I would have stuck Sterling on the right, because Mahrez was still on his holidays.
He's beyond shit.EVERY single team target him, EVERY one.
Can our management not see that?
I'm not suprised Mendy was shit I'm more suprised Pep started him, fuck loyalty he's to fucking slow can't get the ball from under his feet & his 40-60 kamikaze passes are fucking embarrassing yet we had a fit Zinchenko & Walker
I just can't way Sterling up hes had a very good tournament Yetholm looked shit again in a City shirt???
It was obvious from the start of the second half we had no control of the game, CM was gone, Mendy getting ripped a new one, why were no changes made at that point? He's beyond shit.
Wtf was Pep thinking ?
And fucking Ake, what waste of 40 million
Ake?Literally the only reason Pep started Mendy is because he feels that we don't yet have a fit Zinchenko and Walker. It's painfully obvious. Everyone knows as soon as they're back Mendy is also back on the bench behind Zinny and Cancelo at LB.
He had better get used to it, comes with the price tag and always has.Was it my crap stream or was Grealish getting booed yesterday?
The same cunts probably wanted him starting when England was playing
Shows you how the media influence people
