It's social media shite for people who hear something they don't want to. There is a thread for the media and covid, a mod started it.

Labelling criticism of a biased and click-chasing press as an “attack” is unfair.

And I don’t really go on social media, apart from running my Instagram page for my nature photography. Thankfully I avoid all the poison on Facebook and Twitter.

It’s very bizarre for you to jump to weird conclusions based on absolutely no knowledge of who you’re talking to.

You’re the one that’s bringing up social media slogans, not me or HP.

So maybe wind it in a little, yeah.

I see the Anti-Mask Anti-Vax morons have started putting up posters in hospitals and worse still are boobytrapping the posters with razor blades. .
A warning message was posted on my daughter's hospital intranet yesterday.
Two people have cut themselves taking them down apparently.
I despair, I really do.

A year ago, I agree. But Australia and NZ have failed to capitalise on the time they bought and vaccinate their populations sufficiently.

Zero covid is a nonsense and they have no exit plan. You can’t just keep people locked up forever. It’s completely absurd.

They will use vaccination and they will have far less deaths per head than us, I'd say that's the right way to go

Exactly, NZ and UK can’t in any sensible way be compared on virus control. Their nearest neighbour is Australia which is a 3.5 hour flight away, we’re 25 miles from mainland Europe.

I agree to some extent, she's a proper leader unlike Boris and they have done everything in their power to keep cases at a minimum unlike our lot - but their policy can't continue like that forever.

Here in Melbourne were are now under curfew. Roughly 20 cases per day.

A family is being fined over $350k for an engagement party with around 70 guests.

Local playgrounds are all closed.

You can't even drink in public without a mask.

This place has gone completely mad.

Vaccination rates are very low at the moment.
