Curious how much he would want in wages. If it is absurd Messi level (and it probably would be) then this isn't as great an option.

But if he would play for what you'd need to pay Kame? Hell to the fucking yes. Almost a better option than Kane as you save the 140mil outlay to that eel Daniel Levy.

I think some overestimate the commercial impact of him (and Messi tbf) but there certainly would be some.

Strange how that pans out with some players. Even before the takeover I would have never accepted G Neville or Scholes singing for us in the twilight of their careers. Was okish with less arrogant reds like Schmeichel, Kanchelskis and Cole but given an option i would have preferred if we hadn't signed them. Tevez clearly had an issue with Fergusson so he was completely fine.
