Ian Mcgarry saying Kane will submit a transfer request.
Would this actually change anything though?
Spurs can still say no?

Surely if we offer the asking price then that will be the end of the negotiations? If you are so sure the deal is happening, why do you think Kane's camp are breifing the press and throwing their toys out the pram? It's because a deal isn't happening.
City need to offer the asking price, and then the negotiations can start. Kane still might go, but are City going to offer us 160 million? because that is what it will take.
At the moment you are nowhere near. I have no idea if you will pay it, but you have the money surely, so if anyone can do it City can. It wouldn't surprise me either way.
Maybe Tottenham have a replacement lined up,but the selling club is holding things up?
Maybe selling club wants,say £70m, but spuds saying "£55m,we don't have £70m".
If we launch £130m on the table, maybe Spuds are worried about getting fleeced?
Yeah, aside him losing out on some loyalty bonuses it wouldn't affect much. But I think it would maybe put a bit more pressure to sell, they can still say no, I think Kane's trying to get a way out without causing more trouble, but if I were him and seeing as the relationship is already strained, might as well push the final button.Would this actually change anything though?

Probably save Spurs money by reducing loyalty payments.Would this actually change anything though?

Lacazette would certainly be a better option than just not signing any striker.
I'm sure City will have other options in case this deal goes pear.
If it goes another week Kane will need to do an interview.Would this actually change anything though?
Spurs can still say no?
It's not necessarily Kane briefing the press, could be Spurs? If you are so sure the deal is happening, why do you think Kane's camp are breifing the press and throwing their toys out the pram? It's because a deal isn't happening.

I think that's a bit unfair.edited.well done on fitting so much bullshit into such a small post,
Levy may be a **** but he's no mug. Kane's value drops the day this window shuts. Spurs are still a biggish club but are going nowhere . ok they beat our B team last week but that's their season done. Kane wants and deserves a bigger stage , just like Modric,Bale and Sol Campbell , all far too big for Spurs .Honestly No it isn't (the 125m bit)
He's our best player and for me he doesn't even have a price. I wouldn't sell him at all.
But you can understand its not that 125m or whatever is his value its his value to Tottenham..
I think its been pretty clear all Summer that Tottenham want at least 150M to engage in discussions so ...
I'm not saying that mate,I'm saying maybe that's the hold up.So we should pay top whack but they shouldn’t?
Where's the reports about Spurs for these then? Clearly finding it difficult to attract a striker, Lautaro or Vlahovic. They'll have to pay €70-75m at least.Maybe Tottenham have a replacement lined up,but the selling club is holding things up?

It’s what happens when you get your brother to pretend to be a sports agent instead of hiring an actual sports agent
Thanks mate. Hopefully done and dusted one way or the other.I’ve just been told that we’ve got a team of people traveling to London tomorrow, looks like it’s one final push to sign him.
Watch this space over the next few days (hopefully )
That's a complete speculation, none of us know, which is why it is a risk. Plus more will be expected off him in a Pep system(he'll have to do more running, more pressing, more tackling etc) and we will be relying on him heavily for that price, so I don't think he will have it easier at City.Really disagree. We saw what happened against Spurs with Ferran up top and we've all seen Jesus miss big chance after big chance. His injury problems only occur because he has to carry his club all the time every game and he always gets rushed back. That won't happen at City. And Kane being 28 means nothing. That's his prime years. Lewa, Suarez are still on it and they're 32+. We've got 2 years left of Pep. This is not the time to be having "off seasons". Trust me we'll have a few of them when Pep's gone
