I don't think it'd be a disaster but come on. From Harry Kane to a guy who's hardly had one good season and we'd throw €80m? I hope that's not true.

It reeks of desperation imo, he does fit into the profile of signing young players and helping them develop, he's a good option. But I need to hear more expert analysis on him maybe. Just doesn't make sense like that all of a sudden, there's no goal records on him and no guarantees how he'll be.

I know nothing about him and expect Kane. If however we don't get Kane and the club decide on Vlahovic, I'm good with that too.

Don’t know too much about him, but feel abit cautious as he is a striker having played one good season in Italy, is he ready/ proven enough for a massive move? I seem to remember belotti and piatek being linked with massive moves after a decent season, but have since both tailed off and shown them selves to not be of the highest standard.

Is there something that sets him apart? I know he is still only 21. How good could he be/ is he right now?

Its a typical media narrative....when a transfer isnt at present delivering headlines (or anything new) and the sellling club have a potential replacement, the media then link the buying club to that potential replacement to further develop the "story" for the readers......trying to keep going in this case the spurs vs City narrative that some fans lap up

Depsite my feelings around Kane, I fully expect him now to being a city player...

this scenario has been repeated over and over agina with different players and different clubs time and time again every transfer window...its like clockwork

I didn't see a lot of Vlahovic last season, but from what I did see he's a big, strong fucker who contributes little to the play but scores goals. Not bad technically, but not on Kane's level - probably better than Kane was at the same age. Not very fast.

Frankly I'd be amazed if we were seriously interested at the figures mentioned. He's never a 60-70 million pound player, not even in this market. Andre Silva and Patson Daka went for 28 million and 21 million respectively, Vlahovic is probably worth around 35-40.

Watching the obligatory YT videos & the highlights do portray him as younger Kane-clone plying his trade in Serie A.

Tall unit, who can hold the ball up well & score pens & occasionally pick out a pass.

If we were really in for him I would have thought or hoped he would have been on our scouting radar where we could have picked up him for far much cheaper earlier on. However, it seems Pep wants the finished article now which this chap isn't & unproven in the Premier League.For the right price wouldn't mind taking a gamble on this kid compared to Lautaro.
