Actually, reading back, you’re right. Obviously I have no idea whatsoever whether the man has any neurological impairment which may have led to, or may one day lead to, him suffering from that terrible disease and I was undoubtedly being a tad glib.

What I was intending to say was the mental dexterity usually associated with leadership such as attention span, memory, vocalisation and executive function (using all available information to aid decision making), almost always tends to be much worse the older a person gets and, from the admittedly few clips I’ve seen of him in action, I’m not dissuaded of that view by Mr Biden.

I haven't said he has dementia in this post and of course its not a laughing matter my reference to the fiddle is based on a reference to Nero.
It was a serious post and I have said many a time I feel genuine sorrow Biden as he was thrust into a situation by the Democrats that he should not have been , 43 in politics is more than long enough and as I have said its a sad state of political decline when the US can allow a situation where individuals in cognitive decline are thrust into the world stage.

he has given 9 interviews in his first 7 months compared to Obama's 113 and Trumps 50 in the same period who didn't have a pandemic , mass potential humanitarian crisis at the southern border and a crisis overseas involved their own citizens to deal with during the equivalent tenure.

Look at the interview and you will see he has some of the hallmarks snapping at George when he miscounts the number of days when the evacuation of sorts started and dismissing it as a thing of the past and therefore of no relevance , stated that the US has no military presence in Syria when they do , massively overstated the size of the Afghany army numbers and clearly was neither briefed or had forgotten the brief amongst a number of other gafs that a president just shouldn't make.

if you are inferring he has dementia and until he is tested to determine whether he has or hasn't and the details are made public conjecture is our only option albeit an ever increasing number of commentators believe he has some form of dementia and I believe he should be tested to confirm his cognitive state to either end or confirm the speculation for his own good least of all the people he is expected to serve.
