Harry Kane

anyway, with Jesus starting on the wing today and a winger starting at striker ahead of him, surely we can't be possibly considering the situation where we're not getting another striker. i mean if pep doesn't see gabby as a striker anymore, how on earth do you go into a season with 1 recognized striker who is also 18 year old and with a whopping 39 minutes of PL football?

we're either REALLY confident we're getting him or have a back-up prepared in case this deal doesn't work out.
The fact that we set up 3 golden low crosses through a carved open defence today second half, where no one was there to finish says ...we need a striker

We scored five today with a half baked team , so all the pundits commenting how desperate we need a striker appear to be a little premature , we won the league easily last year and were the top scorers by a mile ,and we have signed a top class midfield player who will more than likely play over 40 games.Although we lost a world class striker in Aguero he barely played a dozen games.
If we keep the squad together until the trnsfer window closes we are stronger than last season, if Levy wants to play hard ball let him , he needs Kane far more than we do.

Normally I don't stick my neck out because past experience shows that's there's usually a bloody sharp axe that falls on it. But here goes.

I think the Kane deal is all but done and will be completed before Spurs have to find another fitness excuse to explain his absence from their next lineup. Apparently Nuno has said he won't try to persuade Kane to stay which probably means it's academic as the guy is on his way. I guess at the moment Spurs and City are discussing the financial construction of a deal which will magically show a win-win for both parties, Levy getting circa £150m and City being able to demonstrate that he didn't.

I'm going to press the Post Reply button now after which I will regret doing so.
Bang on the money for me this. Well played sir

We scored 5 against a half baked team, let's not get carried away, some of their defending was laurel and Hardy esq

These are the games that kane could have rest for rather than being flogged to death, its changed nothing about us needing someone to lead the line up front

Or we make the same mistake like we did when we didn’t replace vinny when nearly everyone in football said we needed a defender .
