Started to watch the new season of Ambulance, turned it off after 30 seconds, wall to wall scouse accents, nails down a blackboard!!

You need to go back and watch the whole programme as it was proper scouse bingo! From the bottoxed foreheads to lip fillers. 'Scousers welcome everyone'. 'We do things differently here', blah, blah.

And you'll never guess what song played at the end!

I would say 99.99% of folk can look past an unattractive accent to watch the amazing work our Ambulance staff perform while under constant and immense pressure,and the very obvious effects that has on their wellbeing and mental health.

The job takes so much and offers very little in return......it was very clear in the episode that these guys are working in a cauldron,and that many are literally on the edge,while they have to try and stay professional and deal with the misfortune and tragedies of others.

It should be a must watch IMO,its the least these brilliant,and under appreciated,people deserve.

Just started Narcos finally. Not bad at all. Finished the Blacklist. Honestly, first few seasons where a bit more interesting than the last ones. The animated Blacklist was super weird - didn't understand that at all

They needed to finish that particular season but filming was interrupted by the pandemic. Rather than leave everyone hanging for who knew how long they decided that was the best way to get it done.

It's very good isn't it? I'm never one for subtitles, particularly on comedy dramas like this, but the characters were so well drawn that I found myself chuckling along regardless. Camille Cottin is particularly watchable for a variety of reasons!

I believe they had it all wrapped up after 4 series, but such was its belated popularity on Netflix that they've commissioned a 5th......which is currently being held up by Cottin's other film commitments

Binge-watched The White Lotus over 2 nights, the new HBO comedy drama set in a luxury Hawaiian holiday resort. Pokes a lot of fun at the american upper classes. A yank version of Benidorm it ain't. Very dark and extremely funny (if a bit crude) in places.

Loved the North Water seems nothing much happens but for some reason it grips you the acting by Colin Farrell was fantastic looked like he put in around 3 stone to play the part!

I made it through S1. Quite enjoyed it actually, once I got the tone of it. Never botheted with S2 though. Partly felt no need to, partly some of the actor changes put me off. Think it got cancelled after that anyway. S1 was decent fun in fairness, ott attempts at mind play aside.

Looking forward to this. Absolutely loved Enlightened which was created by the same guy (Mike White) and is sort of the spiritual bedfellow of The White Lotus. Was disappointed it only lasted a couple of seasons.

I know I have raised it before but just finishes the last episode of Season 2 of 'My Brilliant Friend'. Simply the very best TV I have seen in years and years. Unmissable and exquisite.

Watched the first to last night with the Mrs , brilliant acting,a bit grim might have to watch the rest on my own .

New series of Britannia starts tonight on Sky. Gone under the radar for most but has got better and better and is truly funny at times. Great cast. Music is brilliant and the script is 'potty' as fck..(pun Intended)

2 nd series a major step up from first and far more tongue in cheek. It's a blast!
