Extremely risky. I don't understand this obsession for Kane especially with good alternatives like Vlahovic and Ronaldo out there.Fwiw, the brief snippets we've got from City related journalists throughout this whole month have been that City are willing to go the wire on this one.
The poundland neymar, I've seen all the fucking mental ideas now, my stupid signing suggestions bingo sheet is fullStop gap striker......wilf zaha......get him for 50 mil spend the other 50 mil on a decent left back.....

It’s a wind up mate!Sorry but this is a really bad take. If he knew how to get the job done he'd be in their team instead of behind Rashford, Greenwood and Cavani in their pecking order.
He's also a known prima donna who wants to do the fun parts and not the hard yards.
As I mentioned in the Ronaldo thread if we miss out on Messi, ronaldo and lukaku only to find out right at the wire that spurs weren’t bluffing then we have well and truly fucked up imo.Fwiw, the brief snippets we've got from City related journalists throughout this whole month have been that City are willing to go the wire on this one.
But what if we do sign Kane?As I mentioned in the Ronaldo thread if we miss out on Messi, ronaldo and lukaku only to find out right at the wire that spurs weren’t bluffing then we have well and truly fucked up imo.

Maybe …or maybe it’s a more dynamic situation now.Fwiw, the brief snippets we've got from City related journalists throughout this whole month have been that City are willing to go the wire on this one.
We need to put a ridiculous bid in on the last day, in the the last hour of the window.Honestly just tired of this saga. It's not even an exciting saga where things are happening. This is a player that has plenty of downsides and we seem totally obsessed with him beyond reason.
Either we're actually willing to meet Levy's asking price which is ridiculous or we're not and hoping he lowers it and willing to go to the wire for him which is also ridiculous.
I don't think any of that is trueThankfully, it looks like we're starting to explore alternatives. I guess that Levy isn't budging and we certainly don't want to get to the end of the window without a striker. With time running out now, I can only see this dragging on for another day or two before we pull the plug.
There is a lesson in there for Kane, Koulibaly got priced out of a move by Napoli overplaying their hand. Same thing could well happen to Kane. The dullest part of this transfer are the non-reports. It's paralleled the nightly Koulibaly guff from the plethora of Italian journos
Stop reading this forumC pour yourself a whisky and relax, it goes so much more smoothlythere were transfer windows that dragged longer and progressed slower, but this transfer window absolutely infuriated me the most and I viscerally just want it to end already lol

Or hope that kane drives up to the etihad and hangs around in the car park waiting for a deal to happen.
Maybe our Board are in a better position than yourself to determine how near we are away from a signing.Didn't work for Peter Odemwinge all those years ago doubt it'll work now.
The strategy by City has been totally bizarre. I've not seen City act like this with any other signing. Perhaps the closest was KDB but that was alot different in terms of how we approached negotiations and there was legitimate competition for his signature.
Just don’t log on here maye, don’t check Twitter and just wait until you see what the squad looks like on 04/09/21. It’ll help your stress I promise.Honestly just tired of this saga.
