On paper yes but you have to factor in wages, let's say hypothetically Kane is on £350k + bonuses, Ronaldo would more than likely be looking at around £550k + bonuses.
Never got the transfer fee vs wages argument. Yeah we’ve got players like Ederson on £60k a week which is great, but I’d rather the players got paid than a big chunk going to a possible rival. Plus, do we really think we’re going to have to rip the wage structure up because Ronaldo’s on 600k a week? It’s Ronaldo, he wins things, he’s possibly our best shot at the CL. Players will want to play with him and possibly would even take a pay cut to be in the same team as him. That doesn’t even factor in the additional sponsorship revenue.

This deal makes much more sense than Kane at £150mil.

I couldn't give a flying fuck how big of a cut Raiola takes of his client's money.

I think you meant to say he demands too large of an agent fee. I know it seems like nitpicking but there is a difference and it is significant .

All that said, I think Raiola is a twat.
I did mean agents fees. If he gets a £50M agent fee in a £200M deal then he gets a 25% cut of the whole deal.

Funnily enough, I havnt seen a single Italian/Portuguese source about Ronaldo to City. It's been all the French sources.
Dimarzio is Italian? Anyway the first report in this regards came out from corSports an Italian publication.

I really don't think of that adjective with that person.
I am not a big fan but more to the point I think he's well past his best, although I don't like him I have to concede that his best was pretty impressive.
A past his best Ronaldo is still getting us 20 league goals atleast and some champions League goals.

Some of the negative reactions to him on here are understandable but emotional.

For me it's purely pragmatism.

Positives - On the field. Proven goalscorer.

- Off the filed. Increased marketing reach

Negatives - On the field. Does he fit into the team. Maybe, maybe not. One for Pep to decide.

- Off the field. None that I can think of.

And so for me it's a 'yes please' as long as Pep wants him and thinks he can fit into the team
