Totally agree with this, I don’t see why there is such faith in what we have given how obvious our one weakness was last season. It is clear to anybody that although we have superb creative players, we don’t have anyone who is a reliable finisher. Look how many chances we fuck up, and scuffed weak shots, missed one on ones, it’s bloody criminal.
It’s actually wasting the skills and work of our team not having a cutting edge. It must really frustrate Pep too.
I agree Kane wasn’t worth £150m, but we desperately need a proper finisher. Even Ings would have done, given how many chances we create. Torres, Sterling, Bernardo, Jesus, de Bruyne all seem to be have finishing as the weakest part of their game.

To be honest I don’t think any part of his game is particularly strong. He goes missing, he’s too slow and doesn’t look like he has a striker’s instinct at all. He’s a slow winger who doesn’t dribble or anything. More suited to Italy or Spain.

Neither of them said it was done. It's a thankless task, being an "ITK", because if a deal doesn't happen that suddenly means they were bullshitting the entire time. Which obviously isn't the case. But it makes fans, who invested themselves in a potential transfer, feel better about themselves.
Surely Pep would put the teams needs before any personal bad feeling (if there is any)

Im not bashing them, as I appreciate their info. But you’ve just said their sources had said it was done, so sometimes they get things wrong.
Question is though, has it presented itself?Kane saga is finished.
How often does an opportunity to sign one of the very best players of all time suddenly present itself?
How often does it present itself for 25m?
No doubt every top club and their dog will be falling over themselves to sign him.
We absolutely need to be at the table, particularly as the money we were using for Kane is ready and waiting to be spent.
This will probably be an unpopular opinion but I don't agree that we should sign him, if we can. He is 36 years old and would cost a load of money when there are younger strikers for the same outlay available who would also score goals in our team. Surely our scouts can find some prospects or young hungry strikers that will score a shit load in our team?
Just an opinion mate, but this is madness to me.

I don't think he's what United or PSG need at all, and I think he slots perfectly into this new and improved City team without us having to change much of anything. Not sure how close it is to happening, but if, and it is a big if, it does come through I think it's ideal for everyone involved. I think he's shown some great instinctive finishing so far, and his movement is excellent

Sorry, I misread your post. But still, our two top ITK’s have been confident about Kane all summer and Billyshears was more than confident at one point.
